3.0 Juke Power

It’s not often that we post about someone representing PPRT to the fullest, but this guy has truly earned his spot. It seems that this young New York Mets fan decided to show his support for his beloved by jumping onto the field for what is usually a few moments of glory. There is no doubt in our minds that wearing the mythically powered “3D people” tee that we did years ago gave him the juke power to turn this usually brief trot into a 45 second dash to glory. Eat yo Beans & Rice...

This show went down a couple blocks away from Paper Root headquarters a couple nights ago in the back parking lot of a restaurant. It was a benefit show for the Harvest of Hope Foundation, and it was one of the best shows I’ve seen in a while. DP always slays it. Here’s a couple clips we shot:

For the Gents

An eye for the curious, nostalgic, antique methods of creativity is explored with great attention to detail in this new online Journal from our good friends Danny Jones and Aaron Martin.  Grain & Gram "The New Gentleman's Journal" takes us deep inside the inner sanctums of refined young men who aspire to make the most of their craft, all the while respecting its roots and taking care to preserve the nature of the process.  So far, they've conducted in-depth interviews with a soulful musician and a print-maker hungry for old-world style.  Both of these features are accompanied by stunning photography  and video courtesy of JonPaul Douglass.  This is quite a collaboration.  Enjoy
